Quality and disease control system for Beekeeping
The eHive (BeeQ) system provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring and controlling the low energy footprint beehive.
The eHive project will create a new automated hive that sends alerts following a significant change in the hive environment and conditions. The main functions of the eHive system are as follows:
- Monitoring the quality of synthetic cells.
- Monitoring of environmental conditions on and off site with connected sensors.
- Population monitoring using bomb intensity capabilities.
- Low power consumption when transmitting cell data using LoRaWAN network.
