The reference test is polyhypnography and the treatment of choice is the application of a pressure device, with conservative treatment in some mild cases of the syndrome. The EuSleep project is expected to lead to the evaluation of undiagnosed individuals with screening in the general population and the development of an algorithm using biosignatures for diagnostic purposes.
